In June 1998, I came into a revelation of God's love for me that literally turned my life upside down. For the first time in my twenty two years of being a Christian, I finally realized why Jesus died for me on a cross two thousand years ago. It was so that I could come home to the love I had been looking for all my life. And that love was found in my Heavenly Father's embrace.
All of a sudden, my entire focus turned from trying to be a good servant to learning what it meant to be a son. And not just a son to anybody, but a son to Almighty God. This revelation of sonship has transformed my understanding of maturity in a way that is counter culture to the world and often in the church. Instead of trying to grow up, I'm learning that the secret to Kingdom greatness is actually achieved when we learn to grow down. If Jesus says the Kingdom belongs to little children, then there must be many tangible benefits of Kingdom living that only those with a childlike heart can truly appreciate. Over the years, people have asked me how I practically live out this revelation of the Father's amazing love for me. This website is my simple answer. I believe our Heavenly Father created each one of us with a brilliant, one-of-a-kind canvas and it is in the returning to the blank canvas that we all had as a little child, that our Father can begin the restoration process of everything He originally intended for our lives. With each passing day, I am discovering hidden treasures that can only be grasped by those with a childlike heart. In this place of learning to be little, I am really starting to comprehend just how big the Kingdom is. My hope and prayer is that you would join me there too!
